As a Catholic school, the religious core of our tradition is rooted
in Christianity and the richness of the Roman Catholic tradition.
At the core of this tradition is the tenet that we must love one another
as God has loved us. St. Matthew Catholic School’s Catholic identity
does not come simply from the religious instruction. It is embedded
in all parts of our daily life at school.
At St. Matthew, not only do your children receive lessons on the basics. They also learn the values they need to make the world a better place to live. They learn that right is always best and that there is value in being good. They learn that we are all children of God, loved by God, and that we should care for others accordingly. Their education is an act of creation – the creation of compassionate members of the world community.
